World No Tobacco Day
Apex International Public School organised a campaign on tobacco free future. As per the directions and guidelines of District education officer , Punjab A campaign- "Promise for A tobacco free future" was organised under the able guidance of Principal Shallu Gupta. Special assembly was organised in which senior buddy Ms Geetanjali made the buddies aware about world tobacco day and sensitized them about harmful effects of taking drugs . Pledge was taken by buddies in which they promised never to take drugs and make their society free from tobacco.
Campaign aimed at sensitizing the buddies towards harmful effects of using Tobacco. The digital presentation was organised by the legal literacy department in which Ms Harpreet shared stories and facts related to Tobacco use and its effects. Poster making activity on Anti Tobacco day was organised in which buddies of classes 6th and 7th made creative inspirational posters. Essay writing activity was organised for buddies of classes (8-12) in which buddies expressed their views on harmful effects of drugs and tobacco. School Chairman Sardar Ravinder Singh Dosanjh and Principal madam Shallu Gupta sensitized students and staff to make our society and surroundings free from harmful effects of using Tobacco and make it better society.
